Bolderaja lighthouse
A lighthouse in Bolderaja across the river Daugava right before entering Riga bay. There is no use of colours this time, because the lighthouse is black and white.

Brick
In latvian slang we use to call a sign like this a brick. Just because it reminds one. The meaning though is recognized worldwide as driving forbidden.

To be free
We value the freedom and ideas of independence of our nation. We - the latvians would like to say, we have our own country as a nation. Although in reality it might seem different. Anyway 18th of November (back in 1918.) will always be our independance day - for a memory, for a dream.

Staro Riga - part I
These buildings are participants of light show Staro Riga. Skanstes highrises can be spotted miles away. This place now attracts lots of spectators, photographers and seems welcome to extraterrestrials as well :)

Autumn

Did you know that in Europe leaves tend to be yellow while in North America they tend to be red, and there is a reason why? In NA apparently the red colour developed to repel certain insects, while in Europe it was not necessary because many of then were killed in last Ice Age.

Pasales Tirdzniecības Centrs

World Trade Centre function is to market to our minds the idea of globalisation with its to key elements - free movement of capital and restricted movement of people.
Mood - skeptic.
