Tubing

I noticed these two kids tubing down the steep bridge bank as I was passing Salu bridge. I thought it's very enthusiastic to use infrastructure elements for haveing a good time. These kids were playing safely, so I left.

    A nice friendly photo. Was there some concern for their safety...water or an abutment or ?

    The ice covered river Daugava was some 100m from there and the kids were riding down leaving traffic behind.

    Thanks, Karlis. One reason I asked is that I was a kid, I'd sometimes do really dumb things like slide down a hill too close to cross streets.

    But hey, when you're young, you're indestructible, right?
