Riga - the capital of Latvia. The biggest city in Baltic States

It was so quiet, she could hear her hart beating.
This is what Riga looked like after I took a good swim in a lake (Langstini) just at the outskirts of Riga city. I took it today 3am in the morning and I didn't see a single car driving on the drive way. Such a tranquility. I was amazed.
Night shots are the things i like. Cities look wonderfull afterdark. Most of my photos are nightshots. Anyway. In Wroclaw you can hardly see a car as well. But in my hometown, a pretty small town, you can hardly see cars and even people after 9pm. Funny.

Makes me feel as if the city is mine alone at those times. Was the lake warm to swim in at 3am.
I see resemblance every cities in the part of world. You'll find street-grafitti everywhere, even in the quiet city like yours.
Mumbai also looks alike at early morning hours.
Great night time photo. Definitely looks peaceful.
How quickly you reply.Thanks. I posted an old motorcyle pic.
A swim at 3AM sounds like an adventurous thing to do. I like the silent street picture.
city is very beautiful in the nigth
That's nice, there are some cities where things are on the move 24 hours a day (like London) and that's not so nice.
I love the sky colour and the ensemble. Great shot indeed !
