A ferry above city level

On the 5th of September a cruise ship docked at Riga passenger port. It is not the biggest ferry, although 200m long vessel looks impressive, because it obviously rises above the common 6 storey buildings and noticeably changes the city skyline. More pictures of it can be found clicking on the post title.

I wanted to stop by to thank you for your kind comment on my blog yesterday.

This is quite a big ship! I need to explore the rest of your pictures!

Actually that's more than a ship! It's the world's first property ownership on a cruise ship. The World (ResidenSea) is a cruise ship that constantly travels the world and offers passengers the opportunity to buy property on their ship for short- or long-term stays.

In other words, it's like buying a condo at a Caribbean resort....except you wake up every morning in a different place.

It's a floating luxury city. Pretty amazing concept!

Love the blog and photos! They're great!
