Concerning today's theme I publish a lamp post. As you see it can be shot from above as well. This one is quite old, made of reinforced concrete. These kind of lamp posts are from soviet times, and I suppose, it is better that it remains in a photo than in the street, and I hope it will be replaced soon.

It is a good, verry nice photo. The hard point source light being offset, the shadow widens instead of narrowing then dies (visually) in the bush or small tree. Yet you have enough exposure to get good green in the lawn.
I am sorry it has such bad history to you, but still, I like the photo.

Photography is about light and angle of vision. You have got both of them in this photo. An excellent image!
Nice photo. When you blow the image up, you see the rebar protruding. Hopefully the lamp will be replaced soon with something more colourful.
