Riga Metro

There is a legend that this tunnel was meant to be Riga metro entrance in Purvciems district. I made a small investigation in regard to this. I found out that employees who work on the -1 level of this building (Mebelu Nams - Furniture House) are not aware of such projected usage. However the entrance in pretty strange because there are other ramps accessible from two more ground level ramps and it is pretty pointless to have another underground delivery point. Currently behind these doors is a garage for two cars:)
