Before autumn kicks in proper and takes away the magic of green spots throughout the urbanity, I am posting this very small "escape" park in the middle of the centre on the corner of Palidzibas iela (Help street) and Briana street. It is very popular amongst young mothers when going for a stroll with their children. Having said that, I remember myself being walked there as a child. The park must have a name but, frankly, I have no clue what it is.

That is stunning. It is such a perfect mirror image.
Do the parks all have different names from the Soviet-era?
^^hmm, in Soviet times there were few parks created and named in Sovietish names - like Uzvaras (victory) park:)
But the central areas of the city were built before Russian empire had much influence, and German and English city planners and leaders shaped the city centre outside the Riga Old Town (Vecriga).
