Is he a street cat? You very rarely, if never, see a long-haired cat on the street here (all short-hair). Cranky-looking but beautiful kitty!
I assume it is not a street cat because he was friendly and hanging around a pub:)

Once mighty and worshiped (in Egypt) animal nowadays is very often homeless. Could it be the reason he looks so angry?.
