Riga full of glass

I have mixed feelings about central Riga glass buildings that have been built recently - they certainly look better than what it was before - empty plots or ruins. The thing is, it does not complement the old architecture with Art Nouveau elements. I like Edinburgh in this regard - the old has been preserved creating unique atmosphere and the new has found its own place away from the old city.
