Autumn

Did you know that in Europe leaves tend to be yellow while in North America they tend to be red, and there is a reason why? In NA apparently the red colour developed to repel certain insects, while in Europe it was not necessary because many of then were killed in last Ice Age.

I had to look through my photos to see if that was true.

Wow, I didn't know that, I'll have to look into that. Up here in Minnesota, almost dead-center in North America, the maples and oaks are all red right now.
The yellow leaves and the yellow car make for a great composition.

Not so sure about your theory. The West Coast (of the USA) has very few red leaves (unless imported). Why would it matter if insects were to attack dying leaves?

But it's still a great picture.
