Central Market


You can see the access ramp to the Central Market underground storage. When Riga receives Northern winds and the water of Daugava river is blown back from Baltic see, the water is up to where you can see those vans.

Central Market

These used to be garages for dirigibles before WWI. Now converted into market pavilions. Located behind and left from these structures the market itself takes many times larger space than just former "garages" - there are many more buildings for indoor and outdoor market - you can buy there literally everything:)
