Basic instinct

For those who don't know yet - it is rather a complete economic meltdown in Latvia.

I read about that on the newspaper here (I was even impressed that Latvia made it into Chilean news... especially since people here think that Latvia and "Letonia" -Latvia in Spanish- are 2 different countries). Here, we still don't know when the economic crisis is going to hit the hardest (some business have shut down, some highrises have been stopped from being built, it has even hit TV). The government says to remain calm. Although I don't know how calm we can be since a former president who didn't handle the past economic crisis (in 1998) very well is running again for president.

Australia will lead the world out of economic recession, so now is a fantastic time for my hot Latvian cop to get in contact with me. Don't be shy! I am waiting for you! While we don't have exactly the same rye bread you have in Latvia we have this German stuff from Alda, which I like, lots of cabbage and beats, and potato salad. You don't even have to speak English! The language of love will do! So come on Peteris, Marcis or what ever you name is, give us a call if your 6'3 and have blue eyes!

(on a serious note, someone from Latvia told me to be very careful about travelling to Latvia at the moment. Things are so bad people are being robbed for their shopping, out the front of Maxima. Is this true?)

Pretty much rubbish - you could stand there all day long and nobody would pay any attention to you :D

DAMM! I was hoping that a hot Latvian cop would be available to comfort me, and take my report.

Then he could knock at my hotel room door, like a grey Siberian wolf until I let him in and feed him all my love. (and Australian dollars).

Looks like I lucked out again!
