Skyline of Riga from city centre towards South. The trees at the front are called Vermanes park or Veramanitis which would be pronounced varmaneetys. The "a" is pronounced as in VAT or Vatican.

The skyline is beautiful. Did you take this photo from a particular place?
That 'a' sound is quite hard! Even though I have studied English for a big chunk of my life, it took me a lot of practice to do it naturally.

Revals pilsētu parāda no putna lidojuma..viss labāk to vērot vakarā, kad ir izgaismota. Slīdošas gaismas ielās skaisti iezīmē Rīgu.
Any plans for the city to tear down the ugly Stalin-era skyscraper?
