Brivibas iela (boulevard)


These days there are many protests in Riga going on. Some people have built tents near the beginning of Brivibas street. Currently there are just few. Imagine the Whole Brīvības (Freedom) boulevard covered with tents, would that make any difference?

Miles from here

The central and main street through Riga is Brivibas (Eng.:Freedom) str. It stretches from Brivibas monument down till Brivdabas (Eng.:Openair) museum, of course you can't see miles from here.

Brivibas and Gertrudes corner


This is very long if not longest central street in Riga - Brīvības (Freedom) boulevard at its beginning. The high rise at far end is a Reval Hotel Latvia with amazing sky bar at the top floor.

Pedestrian Bridge


Brivibas boulevard exit arc into Siguldas Highway. There is an urban legend that a car have driven over this new bridge - looks pretty plausible.
