Ambasada d'Italia
This fabulous piece of architecture in Old Riga features three atlants holding the Earth on the roof top, an erker with balconey on the corner. The Earth sphere is lightened during night and looks fantastic. The flag of Italy on the balconey is for a reason-Ambasada d'Italia resides on the 3rd and 4th floor. The little tower on the right side of the photo is St. John's church.

It took great imagination to come up with a design like this one. And it has endured a long time.

Very elegant building, though. I'd love to live in the corner room on the top floor.
It has a bit of a Parisian feel.
