The latvian name of the bridge is "Salu tilts" and means island bridge, cause it's middle acually is based on the "isle of hares" - "Zaķu sala" where TV tower and the television building are located, then the bridge "jumps" over the other half of the river Daugava. The TV building is on the other end of isle, therefore is not visible in the photo.Thursday, 6 September 2007
