One reason why the highest tower on the right is called a "silage tower" (Skābbarības Tornis) is because Ministry of Agriculture is located there. One reason why the highest tower on the right is called a "silage tower" (Skābbarības Tornis) is because Ministry of Agriculture is located there. The building on the right has a nick name too - a Kettle... and that is despite the efforts of the architect to give it a shape of the ship:)

Centra Nams looks very good I think! it gives a very nice refreshening look to this area! For me it actually looks like a ship!
hmmm, i never thought of a ship when looking at this house. the silage tower i like much more, pure simplicity, nice!
