Mākslas Muzejs (Latvian Art Museum)


There are many symbols of Masonic and other secret (or rather not) societies. From this angle it seems that the central figure is wearing a mask. May be it is not and may be, if it is a mask, it has nothing to do with occult. Who knows.


I'll post another symbol tomorrow.

I have seen similar signs around here, specially with the role of Freemasonry in the formation of the Independent Republics of Latin America.

If it was a mask, it looks like it could be a Venetian mask called a "bauta". But that wouldn't make much sense in context. I think it's an ancient Greek helmet, worn up on the head instead of over the face.
