Agenskalns is charming but a bit forgotten neighbourhood in Riga. It is getting some investment, but not too much - particularly now at the bottom of financial crisis. That is why I like to see people looking after their properties even in though times.

And nice to see that a simple balcony can look so nice with just a few colorful plants.
As people say (and I get constantly from my professors), a crisis doesn't have to be a negative thing... it is more like facing a dilemma due to a problem. It is up to us to look back on past dilemmas and avoid to repeat the ones with bad results.
