Looking at windows through windows

So now we're here and now is fine
So far away from there and there is time, time, time
To plant new seeds and watch them grow
So there'll be flowers in the window when we go.

Late blossom in Riga
This is amazing - autumn is firing away, many plants are getting rid of their leafs and becoming yellowish, but here is a plant not minding that at all.Tuesday, 2 September 2008
Empty buildings
City centre is still full of empty beautiful buildings and one is just on the left as you land from Vansu Bridge and cross the tram line. The address is Aspazijas blv No. 2Monday, 18 August 2008
Dailes Theatre
A rear bear. One of the Soviet architectural "pearls"...well, may be not exactly a pearl but different from the rest of the buildings of that time.Thursday, 24 July 2008
Making the photos
This is the interesting one - as you might have gathered from the gestures of the lady who is selling flowers - she is not happy that her photo is taken by the guy. Regardless her protest Mr Redjacket, as you can see, snapped her anyway. I am not sure whether the law in Latvia is on the side of the lady, but certainly the guy has very vague understanding of a termini "dignity"...Friday, 30 May 2008

Pienenes - Dent de Lion
Zemitani train station from behind. And I noticed these very widespread flowers - dent-de-lion (french name). They are very nice when blooming, but then time comes when their heads turn into white airborne seeds, noone can stop them. After flying they can "park" on your greenery and surprise you next spring.Friday, 2 May 2008
