Tunnel
Recently built "hide-away- people-so-it-does-not-bother-car-drivers" is right in the middle of central transport hub of Riga. Nevertheless the lift for disabled people is something new in public space in Riga.
I for one certainly appreciate not having to compete with busses and autos when crossing on a green walk light as it used to be, but the tiles they used on the floor of that tunnel are a hazard when wet! But on the upside graffiti tags don’t seem to hang around long as the walls are easy to clean. All in all a very nice improvement.
