First proper snow today in Riga - forecast - will be gone tomorrow.

The roof of Riga (gallery) is not only for skating - it has a skyline in the background all around.

Immense icicles are one of the hazards you should be aware when walking these streets.

Another one I found in Riga - these evergreen species do not reach up too high in this climate - that's why they always fascinate me.

Buried a lot, but not as bad as Estonia... I guess.

This was cleared few days ago. Waste of time - it is all gone after yesterday snow fall.

Lots of snow, chilly wind and no sun might be unpleasant, unless the best friend is by your side.

Condition

Imagine, your car under a snow pile and under condition, you forgot, where you parked it. Btw back there at the end of Maza kalna str. you can see an orthodox cathedral in Ivan's cemetery.

Back to snow... it will get warmer in next two days.
