Science Academy

The highrise building on the left is a Latvian Academy of Sciences - the tallest on the right bank of Daugava. Built under Soviet claw.

OK:) There were few "sister" high rises (very similar to each other) built during Soviet era in Soviet Block countries and Republics, but just three outside Russia - Warsaw, Kiev and Riga.

Latvian Academy of Sciences

Latvian Academy of Sciences is nearly 100m tall building in the heart of Riga. The interesting thing about it is that even it its forbidden it still has the soviet symbols on its facade. Can you spot them?
