Bastejkalns

Basteja hill is at the heart of Riga - on the border of Old Riga and it is part of a green ring separating Old Riga from historical Riga. There are theories about what is hidden in the hill underground, but those are just speculations.

Although not of very good quality the Freedom Monument I photographed from the BastejHill (Basteklans).

A house under the bridge

At night this park is very calm. It is Bastejkalns, a very small hill surrounded by park and divided by Riga canal that reflects another illuminated building at night.

Bastejkalns

This arch is in Bastejkalns (Basteja hill) just at the entrance into the old Riga. I looked through it and this is what I saw:)
