- Dull people don't always do the wisest things.

I am used to see sun setting in the sea, not down the street. Now I am asking myself, why didn't they call it "The Sunset st."? By the way, did someone notice those even leveled cobblestones?

Funny that you say comments "make your day" yet you don't seem to ever acknowledge, let alone thank the people who leave comments on your blog.

Leaving a comment is a courtesy and, as you know, typing does take time. Think about that.

Thanks for rising the issue. Sorry, mimi, if I made you feel that way. I am always checking who has left the comment and their website (blog) in a hope there will be something I will find appealing. I leave comments not for the sake of leaving them but because the story or the picture makes me feel in a way I want to share my thoughts with the author. Also, I never felt others need to reply and acknowledge my comments or people would continue responding endlessly to each other comments and that IMHO would be waste of time because there are so many interesting blogs to visit in CDP only. The "make my day" thing is exactly how I feel when I get the comment and that is how I acknowledge it. What I am trying to say is that instead of replying and responding to comments left on RIGADAILYPHOTOS I try to give feedback on other people post in their blogs to enable them to see where they are going. I hope it does make sense to you:)

To mimi:
to my mind "made my day" is not funny at all. That is a way or style of showing how I appreciate the comments posted in our site. And since CDP is an everyday activity it is obviously a part of my day as well and it has been great so far. Leaving a comment is not a courtesy to me, it is my duty to share my opinion in case blogger has impressed me with his/her post. And that's what Aigars said, that giving feedback is the courtesy.
P.S. If typing takes too much time, improve your skills.

Aigars, yes, your reply did make sense to me. Thank you for taking the time to show me a different way of looking at this, I appreciate it.

Karlis, I am very sorry to see that Aigars class hasn't rubbed off on you.
