Walkabout

Mangaļsala is one of my favourite places to visit both on calm and stormy days. The path towards lighthouse is surrounded by different objects, elements and beings, that spring sun has lightened and awakened. It attracts lots of people that enjoy the walk on the breakwater interacting with nature and each other.

Captains viewpoint

Today I have one more photo of Andrejsala. This one is taken from the fly-bridge of an old ship docked to the far end of a breakwater of Andrejsala. The river Daugava is on the right and the view is towards Riga centre.

Sea gate

Buoys that mark the shipping route at river Daugava's outfall in Riga bay. It is unusual to see these objects so close. This photo was taken just by curiosity. I wish I could do it from underwater. In the far background you can see people walking on the breakwater.
