Dome square at night

Dome square with the church in the background. Those ghostly appearences in the photo are bypassing people. Drifting from bar to bar they make the feeling of busy streets at night.

13. janvaris (13th january)

The protests on 13th of January in Riga developed into violent behaviour. More pics in coming days.
"I don't give a F**K!" - that is a very close translation of what is written on the banner about Minister of Transport.

Somebody tried to snap me from the window, so I grabbed my camera and snaped him back:)

In process

This place once was the famous beer garden in Dome square. This year it was closed and a serious construction works have been started. It is just a small part of the heart of old town which hopefully will turn into something attractive.

They all sat down..

This is an evening in Riga Dome Square with people having beer or whatever. The Dome church in the background is 800 years old and it wasn't built in one go. What you can see is a result of interactive process over centuries and haven't seen significant changes in its shape only over last 200 years.
