One of the RDP Soren (Danija) commentators sent in a lovely pic from Old Town. Must be from the WW2.

A WEEK BREAK

Due to my disastrous computer software failure (and lack of back up and brain capacity to predict the need for it), an upcoming assessment in uni and a little get away from work, RDP team is having a little break till the mid 20-ies of April.

See you soon.

Probably centuries ago (I might be wrong though:)) this was once a military equipment - now a decoration in Old Town

- Go!

Pub Dickens in Old Riga. Although front entrance is around the corner, I prefer this view, because buildings really represent two different view angles. If street itself would be the third building, I'd call it M.C. Escher's reality.

- It's starting to get crowdy. I wouldn't mind staying here for a bit longer, but... - said one of them thinking he'll be leaving the show.

Tonight we had an annual event called The Night In Museum. Everyone could attend any museum for free up until 2am in the morning with public transport being provided to the museums free of charge. More than 100 thousand people attended this huge party. It was so surreal! What's inside the box (museums) I'll post tomorrow:)

Pictures from the top left:
- Port City Naive Art Museum and
exposition of Weird Bicycles
- Fireworks :)
- The Old Town - most of the museums are located there
- "Melngalvju Nams" (House of Blackheads) and Occupation Museum

The bright spots of the World.

To get to the place where this picture was taken from (I'll post it tomorrow) took a lot of courage and wouldn't be possible without the help of my friend Karlis who insured his camera is providing the quality of this image.
