Canal Bridge

Thousands of platforms of water surfaces playing with sun beams - reflecting from the water and illuminating the arc. In Latvian the reflection of the sun is sometimes called Saules Zaķis (Sun Hare).

New VEFBridge

The place I am standing on in next few years will become what it was intended to be - a driveway - a part of "East Motorway" forming a drive-around the city centre.

Love For Ever Die Together

No mater how many padlocks young couples on their wedding day click here, they are removed from here on a regular basis by local authorities. Nevertheless, no one will be able to eliminate this tradition...EVER :)

Isle of hares

On the height of almost 100 metres from TV tower on Zaku island we can clearly see the centre of Riga and the old town. It is settled on the right bank of the river Daugava. There are four bridges that can be hardly seen on the photo and the fifth one behind the scene that is still being built. Starting from it - Dienvidu bridge, Salu bridge, Railroad bridge, Akmens bridge and Vansu bridge. Old Riga is among the last three.

Rika (Rīga)

This is what it's all about, finally I share the whole picture of this fabulous city.
There is a bank-high rise on the left bank of river Daugava, it marks a new part of Riga and reflects a beautiful sunset, which means, that night life on the other side of Daugava can begin. That is Vecriga (Old Riga), 800+ years - this city has lots to tell and hide, give and take...
