Natālijas Draudziņas Vidusskola (ģimnāzija)

It used to be called Riga 7th Secondary School. Ironically the Last name of Nataly is Draudzina - that means "of a friend". So I remember when I heard the new name of the school, I mised the "s" at the end and thought it means "A School for Nataly's friend".
It could be interpreted even differently, but I'll leave that pleasure to the fellow Latvians.

Duntes iela (street)

Duntes street over the last few decades from an empty road connecting Riga centre to Sarkandaugava area has become a popular location for companies operating in shopping, office, residential buildings (Duntes Ozoli - the highrise behind the blue building) or entertainment industries.
The note below is directly related to me any other blogger as it attempts to censor the internet.
To see the warning letter from Goldman Sachs to blogger Mike Morgan that threatens to take him to court, if he does not shut his website down click here.

Salt&Pepper
Before leaving Riga by airplane, you might want to have a good meal in LIDO. It is closer to the sky by the way - on the second floor. O-ou, one more forbidden photo was taken.

All Saints
An Orthodox church of all Saints, that was built in 1815 near one of the oldest cemetery in Riga. Weird, but the address is Katolu str. 10 (Catholic str.)

Remulus & Remus

I just do not know, why this is here in the driveway underneath Salu bridge and who can notice it here. Maybe tram passangers?

Enchanced old and new
So the spring is here with sun that not only melts the last remains of snow, but also enchances colours of new and old.
